i. Chicken
Experimental animal:1-days-ages JINGFEN chicken
Experimental design:
1. Control group (CG): Based diets
2. Experimental group1 (EG1): Based diets+100ppb Aflatoxin B1
3. Experimental group1 (EG1): Based diets+100ppb Aflatoxin B1+100g/t Glucose Oxidase
The total of chickens is 900, 300 chickens in each group.
Experimental cycle: 35 weeks
Experimental results:
The result shows that the control group died 51 chickens and the survival rate was 83%. The survival rate of the EG1 was 62%, which was 21% lower than that of the CG. But the survival rate of the EG2 increased by 24%, and recovered to the control group level. During the course of the experiment, there were obvious diarrhea in the EG1 and the chicken was slow and pathological. But the EG2 which added glucose oxidase diarrhea was lower, the chicken pecking desire strong vitality, and the feather was smooth and neat. Glucose oxidase in this experiment has a good detoxification, and can completely remove the toxicity of aflatoxin B1.
i. Broilers
Experimental animal:1-days-ages broilers
Experimental design:
1. Control group (CG): Based diets
2. Experimental group1 (EG1): Based diets+100ppb Aflatoxin B1
3. Experimental group1 (EG1): Based diets+100ppb Aflatoxin B1+100g/t Glucose Oxidase
The total of broilers is 600, 200 chickens in each group, 5 repeats in each group.
Experimental cycle: 42 days
Experimental results:
EG2 64.29 100.29 1.56 91
The results showed that the addition of glucose oxidase increased the survival rate and the production performance of broilers. The survival rate of the EG2 was 28% higher than the EG1. The survival rate of the EG2 was 4% higher than the CG. The feed of chicken feed with aflatoxin B1 resulted in a decrease of daily gain, ADF and feed meet ratio. After the addition of glucose oxidase, feed meet ratio was improved, and the EG2 increased by 1.27% compared with the CG. Glucose oxidase can remove the toxicity of aflatoxin B1 on broilers in this experiment.
iii. Weaned piglets
Experimental animal:28-days-ages weaned piglets
Experimental design:
1. Control group (CG): Based diets
2. Experimental group1 (EG1): Based diets+100ppb Aflatoxin B1
3. Experimental group1 (EG1): Based diets+100ppb Aflatoxin B1+100g/t Glucose Oxidase
The total of weaned piglets is 75, 25 weaned piglets in each group, 5 repeats in each group.
Experimental cycle: 28 days
Experimental results:
The results showed that the growth performance of the pig was affected by aflatoxin B1 and the growth rate was inhibited. The EG1 than the CG of the feed meat ratio increased by 3.77% and the increase of weight reduced 0.6kg. After the addition of glucose oxidase, the production performance was improved. In the experimental group2, the feed meat ratio was decreased by 4.24% compared with the EG1. The EG2’s feed meat ratio slightly lower than the control group, the whole period increased weight 0.1 kg. Glucose oxidase can remove the toxicity of aflatoxin B1 on weaned piglets in this experiment.
